First Public Market at Train Station

Turnout ‘unbelievable’ at first Public Market at train station – Utica, NY – The Observer-Dispatch, Utica, New York.

I was able to attend the public market this weekend and was pleasantly surprised—there were a number of interesting vendors and despite the rainy weather, I saw a crowd of people coming and going. I think this event has tremendous potential and hope it continues to grow. The event needs more publicity and vendors, particularly farmers with produce. I talked to several people at the market and most felt the same as me—very excited to see it happening, but hoping it does die out to quickly.
